Institutional Analysis (IA) provides information, analysis and services to facilitate decision making to Senior Management, the Marine Institute and Memorial University communities, the Newfoundland and Labrador Department of Advanced Education & Skills and the general public.

IA provides reports and analysis in the areas of:

• Alumni Statistics
• Program Review and Accreditation
• Academic Performance
• Budget
• Financial Performance
• Human Resources
• Facilities and Usage
• Client Surveys

IA provides analytical support to all the units within the Institute, and collaborates with other University departments:

• Centre for Institutional Analysis and Planning (CIAP)
• Alumni Affairs and Development

IA also supplies information to the following publications:

• MUN President’s Report – Vital Signs
• Marine Institute Annual Review
