School of Fisheries

 
Overview

The School of Fisheries delivers education and training programs to students interested in entering the aquaculture, fishing, environmental and food industries. Academic programs offered by the School range from industry certifications to diplomas of technology, joint diploma/bachelor degrees, advanced diplomas, post-graduate certificates and master's degrees.

The School of Fisheries also has significant involvement in community-based training programs, where instructors teach short industry training programs in communities, primarily in Newfoundland and Labrador and Northern Canada. The School is moving toward offering more online courses and programs.
