We're so glad you've chosen the Marine Institute on this voyage in your educational journey, and we are happy to welcome you to the MI family. We are here to help you on your newest adventure.

Whether you are a student who will be studying on the MI campus, or a student studying halfway around the world via online studies, MI Bachelor’s and Graduate Student Orientation is an opportunity for you to learn about everything the Marine Institute has to offer and the resources available to Bachelor’s and Graduate students.

At the MI Bachelor’s and Graduate Student Orientation, you will:

  • Learn more about your program
  • Discuss matters vital to graduate-student success
  • Network with new and current graduate students
  • Get to know your faculty
  • Learn about key campus locations and resources available

MI Bachelor’s and Graduate Orientation is all about getting you set up for success in your respective program. Ask questions, reach out and allow us to help you to be the most successful student you can be.

You are invited to begin your MI experience on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at 6:00pm.

  • 6:00pm Welcome & Introduction to the Marine Institute – Hampton Hall
  • 6:30pm Program Specific Sessions
  • 7:30pm Networking Bites & Cocktails – MI Student Lounge
  • 8:00pm Campus Tour
  • 8:30pm Closing

This event is open to students studying in Advanced Diplomas, Post-Graduate Certificates, Bachelor’s Degrees, Master’s Degrees, and PhD.

Online Orientation

Are you studying from outside of NL? Not to worry; you are invited to attend our Online Orientation on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 7:30 EST. The link to attend can be found here.

Quick Tips

  • Use a laptop or desktop computer, tablets and mobile devices do not support all the features. Chrome and Firefox are the recommended and supported browsers.
  • Use headphones instead of speakers to prevent voice echo.
