Canadian High School Curriculum Requirements

Newfoundland and Labrador

For admission you will need to successfully complete high school and obtain a minimum combined average of 60% in the following 3 subject areas:

If you are currently in high school:

When you apply (early decision)

  • No transcript is required. Your previous year final grades and current year registrations are obtained from the Department of Education automatically with the submission of your MCP number.

When you finish grade 12 (final decision)

  • Your final official transcript will be supplied automatically by the Department of Education.

If you have completed high school

  • Request an official transcript be sent to the Office of the Registrar from the Department of Education. A transcript submitted by any other means will not be considered official.
  • If you include your MCP number on your application, your transcript can be obtained automatically from the Department of Education

Submitting your documents

If you are currently in high school or graduated this year, your final high school results will be sent automatically from the Department of Education.

For other applicants official documents must be received directly from the issuing school/institution.
