Sample NavArch Projects

Sample Naval Architecture Projects

Naval Architects are expected to be able to design a variety of ships, offshore structures, and other floating or fixed structures. To do this, they must prepare a variety of technical drawings, virtual 3D models, and reports such as: lines plans, general arrangements, structural arrangements, capacity plans, fabrication drawings, machinery arrangements, trim & stability books, and weight estimates.

As a NARC student, you will be supported every step of the way by the experienced and knowledgeable NARC instructors. Instructors often work one-on-one with students, both in and out of the classroom, to ensure that students fully understand what is expected of them and to demonstrate how to best achieve success.

All of the NARC core courses have ample lab time each week to ensure that students have the opportunity to work with instructors, and each other, in order to complete their assignments and projects on time.

Here are samples of the type of drawings and projects you will learn how to do in the NARC diploma program.
