The Marine Institute scholarship program is made up of internally and externally administered scholarships. There are normally two scholarship presentations in an academic year; one in fall and one in winter. The application deadline dates for the current academic year appear in the list of important dates printed at the front of the calendar.

Students must apply for scholarships each term. One application form covers all general scholarships that the Marine Institute Committee on Scholarships awards each fall and winter. Students may be required to submit additional application forms to be considered for special or externally administered scholarships.
